John Levy, Manager Communication

Before working at dodt.com studios as a consultant, Levy has worked 30+ years in the industry, running his own advertising and marketing agency in Adelaide, as well as several senior positions in the Australian Government as a Communications Director.
John is a creative writer who has worked on many client projects including Kendall Airlines, Australian Government Publishing Service, Master Plumbers Association, Environment ACT, Boating Industry Association, Holden new car dealerships, Attorney-General's Department, The Professionals (real estate agents), and Commercial Union Insurance group.

Since February 2005 John Levy has been the Communication Manager with dodt.com studios. He leads the communication team and adds strategic advice and quality assuarance to projects.
Levy has extensive experience in all facest of Communications including, Public and Community Relations: All media releases, Conferences/Invitations, Event Organisation, Public Awareness and Education Campaigns, Internal Communications, Quarterly Publications, Newsletters, Speech Writing, Brochures, Exhibitions, Conventions, Trade-Shows, Displays, profile development.
He has orchestrated special keynote speaker evenings, Public and Community relations releases, Print and Electronic media briefings for an overseas Ambassador, Deputy Attorney General, visiting Academics, Scholar in Residence and other Dignitaries.
Newspaper and Publishing: Advertisement layout, design, artwork contracting, advertorial and Feature preparation, typesetting knowledge, proof reading, copy writing, editing, media negotiation, purchase and placement utilising survey and statistics, Annual Reports, Publications, Brochures, Technical Manuals - both hard copy and electronic.
Radio: Concept, script writing commercials and programmes, production, talent and voice-over selection, scheduling, interview formats and releases, media negotiation, purchase and scheduling utilising survey statistics and ratings.

Marketing and Business Development: In the private sector, clients covered a myriad of leading retailers. corporate bodies, associations, charities, city council and in the public sector as a senior manger with AGPS he dealt with nearly every major Federal Government Department or agency - where creative and innovative Marketing strategies coupled to strong Business Development played a major role.
